Thundercats: Lion-o re-designby ~sillof

Traditional Art / Sculpture / Figurative

This is my redesign of Lion-o in a more realistic fashion. He has the classic Lion-O red hair, the Sword of Omens (I though the mechanical look of sword made sense with it getting longer as in the cartoon), and Gauntlet. New features include the warrior top-knot, more practical outfit and armor, as well as a tail.

It is up on Ebay until 1-24-10

Awesome work man. Wondering if you could help me answer a question. Do you make your own figures, or do you have someone mold them using your original designs? I design, create, & paint all the figures myself.

I generally don't do molds unless I need a lot of something like belt pouches, etc.

As for construction I use a combination of repainted parts of existing figures and sculpted new parts over old parts or armatures.
