Here is a diorama I made of the ancient king's throne. I would have liked to have made a larger more encompassing scene, but with 7" figures it would have been impractical for display.

I found then entire scene of the King's underground court to be amazing. The juxtaposition of this ancient race in the ruins of a modern industrial power plant was really memorable and right up my aesthetic alley.

It actually lights up like a fire in the furnace behind him, although it does not show up in the photo.

Did you hear about the contest Hasbro is having? I think you have to use their figures, unaltered, but the diorama building aspect might interest you:

and if that doesn't work try here:

Thanks, I thought about that, but you have to give them the diorama.

Oh really? That sucks, I thought you just had to send them photos.

That is what I thought at first and then I read the fine print. I would not even mind loaning it to them, but I believe it is theirs to keep.

I have helped run the diorama area at the last 3 celebrations so mine will be displayed anyway and I get to keep them.

Thanks for keeping me in mind though.

Wow! Could you one day make a tutorial for how you made the furnace? Amazing work.

Sure, But the entire thing is foamcore board and I cut out a small hole for those smaller touch led lights. I sometimes will use LED's, even small Christmas lights look good in the right settings when hidden.

Thanks, Dioramas are my favorite thing to make. They just take up too much room. I plan on posting some of the dioramas here on DA.
